The bulgarian split squat is hated but loved by many. It already requires a good amount of stability at the hips, core, ankles, and knees.

To add the the FUN we included a deficit making the movement harder by increasing the range of motion.

This is how we progress and grow.

Try it out on a surface that's around knee height. Once you have that down, add weight, add a deficit, but do it safely.

One of my most hated supersets of 2025. Our belt squat machine is great for those with injuries looking to avoid some of that spinal loading and compression you get from using a barbell.

You can focus more on the legs. It allows for more volume. The learning curve is easier than free weights. You have more stability.

But this sucked for 3 sets back to back 🤣

But hey, with challenge comes progress. And we're all about progress.

Pullups are hard enough. Pullups at 6'4 create a whole new element due to being taller and having longer arms.

The most fascinating part of training? The mindset.
When it comes to strength training, we often see a common belief among our women clients: they think they lack upper body strength or the ability to lift heavy. This is often fueled by past experience or a focus on lower-body training, which can lead to neglecting the upper body. This deeply ingrained belief can be a significant barrier.

Lauren, a lifelong dancer, started with us six months ago and was convinced she had no upper body strength. Her story shows what happens with solid training and consistency. Despite her incredible body awareness, she was unaware of her upper body strength.
Now, Lauren is a testament to proving yourself wrong.

Her journey shows us that strength training isn’t just about the physical, it’s a major boost to self-confidence. As her muscles get stronger, so does her mindset.
She’s consistently busting through plateaus, lifting heavier with better form and focus every session.

When it comes to strength training, we often see a common belief among our women clients: they think they lack upper body strength or the ability to lift heavy. This is often fueled by past experience or a focus on lower-body training, which can lead to neglecting the upper body. This deeply ingrained belief can be a significant barrier.

Lauren, a lifelong dancer, started with us six months ago and was convinced she had no upper body strength. Her story shows what happens with solid training and consistency. Despite her incredible body awareness, she was unaware of her upper body strength.
Now, Lauren is a testament to proving yourself wrong.

This pull-up and push-up sequence is a way we increase volume and build a solid foundation. It's a great blend of pulling and pushing movements, hitting different muscle groups in the upper body. Plus, you get a good amount of practice.

Sequence:

4 pushup
She followed this until she reached 5 pullups and 10 pushups

Endless light reps aren't for muscle growth, especially when it's too light.
